About, Contact

Bill Fink worked for the National Park Service from 1971 until his retirement at the end of 2004. He served in park units in Maryland, Arizona, Hawaii, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. He spent the last eight years of his career as the manager of the Service's Strategic Planning and Organizational Performance Management program for the 13 midwestern states.

Through varied experiences in America's National Park System, Bill Fink has gained extensive experience in communicating -- visually, verbally, and in writing.

He brings these experiences, along with more than 40 years' experience in photography, to his "retirement" business.

An award winning a/v program writer and photographer, Fink has had articles and photographs in several major magazines, such as BACKPACKER. Technical writing in recent years focused on developing materials to support the NPS response to the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993. Fink was also a frequent trainer at courses for NPS employees, both in the classroom and by satellite feed.

He is an experienced trainer and consultant in the private sector (non-profit and for-profit).
